  1. Aulderstown Co. Wexford was the seat of a cruel and relentless tyrant named " Glascott", who was most remarkable for his polished ways and deceitful qualities. During the '98 period he "ran with the hare and held with the hound". He searched the country looking for men to save him, as he pretended, from the ravages of the war. Anyone that went with him he gave them shelter until the soldiers came to take them away but none ever returned. There was a forge in Priesthaggard Campile, Co. Wexford worked by a man named Fortune that hammered many a pike in those days. He had a
