  1. Ghost Story
    Many years ago a man from Sutton's Parish went to New Ross for a load of timer. He had a remarkably strong horse and dray (?) car. Being disappointed it was late and he leaving the town. Coming out by Elys walks he saw a woman carrying a very heavy load he asked her was she coming far as he would give her a lift but no sooner did she get the invitation she leaped into the car. His horse at once began to feel the weight of the load, and the man on viewing her side ways got very nervous he began to pray to the Blessed Virgin to save him. As he viewed the woman he became still more nervous. After a very short time the horse was
