    corner of a gate way. Up rode a Hessian and with a spring like a deer, Mogue piked him in the saddle and the Hessian fell dead to the ground. The horse galloped off and a couple of neighbours attracted by the noise of the galloping horse rushed to see what was wrong.
    There they found Mogue standing over his victim with a few shillings of coppers in his hand that he had taken from the dead mans tunic.
    'Divide that with us Mogue' said they. 'Begob i won't' said Mogue. 'You can kill plenty of hessians for yourselves, I am going to get tobacco for this anyhow'.
