“It is said that one of Cromwell's soldiers is buried in one of the churchyards...”
1. It is said that one of Cromwell's soldiers is buried in one of the Churchyards in the town of Wexford and he is guarding a pot of gold. (Mother).
2. One night a man went down to the vault whistling and the soldier said to him, "Come down to morrow night at the same time whistling and I shall give you the pot of gold". (sister)
3. Next day he told his friend and he went down and got the pot of gold (M)
4. One night a man killed another man and when the funeral was going out next day the horses would not go by the house of the murderer and the people found out the murderer. (Mother)- Collector
