- There is a holy well in Trinity. It is about sixty yards from the graveyard gate. Its water is scarcely visible with leaves. These are taken out every year but the well cannot be emptied of them.
Its water and leaves are a cure for warts, sore throats and sores.
Once a protestant lady came to a Pattern there, with the intention of having a picnic. She was told that the water would not boil, but she said that she would make it boil.
She filled the kettle with water from the Holy Well and put it on the fire but the kettle burned up.- Collector
