every house on Hallowe'en there was plenty of drink knocking about, all the people would call in and have a fine night of feasting and drinking.
Hallowe'en night always seems mysterious because ghost stories and yarns are going the rounds with young and old.
May Eve and Hallowe'en are two of the greatest nights in our district for the renewal of these old customs and superstitions.
