    In former times there were no pans or griddles for baking bread. Ovens built of brick somewhat in the style of the modern baker's oven were used.
    Foster - the priest hunter of Clonjordan was making an oven for himself. He ran short of material for the flooring and raided a local graveyard. He brought a tombstone that was over a priest's grave and placed it in the bottom of the oven.
    When the oven was finished bread was put in it to bake. When baked Foster took it out and found to his amazement that on the bottom of
