    If the smoke of the chimney blows down to earth it is a sign of rain.
    If sheep are seen to seek shelter in the evening.
    If rabbits are seen scurring around the fields, they are said to be gathering food for the oncoming storm.
    If the knew moon lies on its back it is a sign of rain.
