    A Funny Story
    There was an old man in Camolin. His name was William Murphy. He was a proud old man always boasting about having a turkey for his Christmas dinner. He was very poor and everyone knew he could not afford to have a turkey.
    Two boys going home one night decided that they would send him a present for his dinner so they caught a cor-eisg and tied it on the latch of his door in such a way that when the old man got up and opened the door it fell in on the floor. He never boasted of his turkey since then.
