    Festival Customs
    There are many customs kept on certain feast days during the year. On Shrove Tuesday we mak pan-cakes and have great fun eating them. On May day we make the May bush and decorate it with ribbons, egg shells and lighted candles. In the evening we set it on fire.
    On St Patrick's Day everyone wears a shamrock on a badge.
    On the first day of april (ev) 'All fools day' everyone is trying to make a fool of his companion by sending him on a false errand and by calling them an April Fool when they come back. On St Stephen's Day the wren boys go
