The games that they play on that cross are ringers, skittles marbles, cards, and tossing - all through the Summer evenings. There is another road going from the Rah lane at Jack Kavanagh's known as the Garranstackle Lane.

Old Roads

There are many old roads now which were once the main roads to many important places.
The Hayestown Lane which was once the main road to Camross is a very poor old lane now. Very few people go it with horse-cars or motor cars unless for safety from the traffic of the New Line.
The Coolnagree Lane was a very important road one time. It is a very narrow old lane now. Motor cars or horse-cars hardly could get through it with mud, water and briars.
