    And Presidents are good late in the year. When the potatoes are fit to be taken out the owner of the potatoes gets people to help him to pick them. One man follows the potato digger which takes the clay off the potatoes then the others pick them in baskets and put them in carts. The carts are drawn home and the potatoes are put either in pits or in a house.
