  2. Jimmy Doran used to make straw mats and hampers and clothes baskets and potatoe baskets, he lived in Birr, he is dead now. Mrs Doran used to make wicker armchairs. John Brian Glebe threshes corn with a flail. Mrs. Healon Derrylahon spins wool with a spinning wheel.

  3. My uncle makes gates and carts and wheel barrows. He lives in the townland of Killinaney and his name is Dan Doyle. He makes them for his own use and sells them to any of the farmers that want them.
