- (continued from previous page)which is called Church Hill. The hill is sloping towards the East. Bally-farrell is about half a mile South of Blue Ball.
- There was a graveyard at the back of Clerys of Cooldarah. It was called the Coill. There is nobody buried in it now. It is about one hundred years since it was in use and it is nearly three hundred years since it was opened. It is a pasture now. Mr. Cleary was going to plough one day and a hand appeared to him and he did not plough it.

- There is an old church in Kiloughey. The grave yard is round. In the middle of the grave yard there are the ruins of an old church. The parish Priests name was Fr. Mc Caffrey four hundred years ago. Kiloughey Chapel was knocked down Christmas morning by Oliver Cromwell's army(continues on next page)
