    Banagher Cross. This cross was erected over Bishop William O'Duffy who was murdered on the streets of Banagher in the year (1272). Only the shaft now stands for it was broken long ago, and the cross arms were taken to the museum in Dublin where they are to this day.
    On the panels of this Cross are the following carvings -
    A bishop riding a horse without bridle or saddle.
    A red deer caught in a trap.
    Four men going through a strange kind of dance - supposed to stand for the seasons.
    A lion lying quite camly
