- Once upon a time there lived a man and woman in a little cottage in the Creevagh hills. One day as the woman was out feeding her hens a Fairy Blast arose and it brought the woman away into the hills. When the man heard the Fairy Blast he ran out, and to his great surprise he saw his wife going off through the hills.
After that he went and told the priest about his wife and the priest said she must be gone in the fairies. Every evening about five o'clock she used to pass by his house with a lot of other fairies. The man went again and told the priest about his wife passing by his house every evening.
