  1. Warts: Get a black snail and rub it on the wart. Put the mail on a thorn to die, and when the snail dies the wart disappears.
    Boils: Put boiling water on loaf bread and put it on the boil and it will curer it.
    Toothache: Do three stations round Saint Kiernan's Well, in Clonmacnoise.
    Stye: Get ten gooseberry thorns, point nine of the thorns at the stye, bless yourself, and throw away the tenth over your shoulder, and the stye will be cured.
    Wild Fire: The blood of a Walsh is able to cure it.
