    there was a lady seen at this lake one night by a workman who had to pass this way. Now no one passes it when it gets late at night as it is supposed to be haunted and the people who lived there are gone away and there is no one living in the house now.

    As you go to Coolerain there is a large rock in a field near the road about five feet high with a white thorn bush growing right in the centre of the rock and many people say there is money hidden there as at night a light is seen going away from it across the fields and back again and no one goes out in the field when its gets dark but the light is seen from the house facing it at the same time every night.
