  1. (continued from previous page)
I'd see again the shady spot
Where in my loved ones lie
By annbrooks stream I'd fondly dream
    And boyhood days recall
I'd climb again the old ash tree
    Beside the tanyard wall
    I'd drink a glass at Treacy's bar
And as I'd cross the door
Tis there I'd meet an Irish smile
    In old bloughmoyle once more
I'd like to stand on Carrig heights
    And see the river Nore
Its primerosed banks I'd trace again
    So far off Templemore
If I could see dark Corviels shades
    St Cronans church so fair
Tis little more in life I'd ask
    Well answered were every prayer
I'd treasure sacred thoughts of thee'
    On this for distant shore
Gods peace be thine dark Rosoleen
I'll come to thee once more.
