(Father) - There is a mountain not far from this place called Barr Leatan. About the 1880 year there was a terrible thunder storm and terrific rain. This mountain bursted on one side. It covered the whole country side. It moved down and took houses. There were the people living in a house called the Mitchells, and these were all drowned. It took sheep and cattle down before it. When it came to Cadamstown the bridge was not able to take and(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
