- (2) If you get some chickweed and squeeze the milk out of it and put it on the wart a couple of times they say it will cure it.

Seffin , Birr - (3) To cure warts, it was an old cure to rub water from a stone after rain.

Kileen , Birr. - (4) If you were going over a style and you saw a round hole full of water dip the wart in it and it will wear off.

Main St. Birr. - (5) Get a potato and cut it in halves and rub it on the wart. Then throw away the potato, and who ever picks up one of the halves will take the wart. (Mrs. Gilmartin)
