    who lived with her got the pony and went to Banagher for the priest. This happened very late at night.
    The boy fetched the priest and hurried back to the place where the woman lay dying neither speaking on the way.
    When the priest had anointed the woman the boy told him about the turkey-cock. The priest did not speak until he came to the place where the ghost was supposed to be seen.
    The boy saw the turkey-cock coming through a gate nearby and told the priest so but the priest himself could not see it. The priest got down from the trap with a whip in his hand. He spoke to the Ghost that he could not see and asked him to change his appearance into the person he was before he died.
    The turkey-cock remained as he was until the priest had commanded
