- On the way to Graig from Borris stands the ruins of an old castle called Clohastia Castle. It is said to have been erected by the O'Ryans of Idrone. Only part of the south and east walls are standing to the present day. The rest were used by a contractor to build the weir across the Barrow at Clashganny. The rest of the building would have been used up for the same purpose if Mr John Semple the engineer had not interfered. He thought it would have been a pity to destroy it.
