Long ago the people used to have dances on the crossroads. A lot of people used to gather together and have a dance.
There are nine stones on Mount Leinster on the side of an old pass way. The people say that there were nine men killed there and that the nine stones are there in memory of the nine dead people.
The roads that were made long ago were made the shortest way to get to a place. There was no such thing as escaping a mountain like there is now.- Collector
