He got her settled before he went, and then he got some of the best bread and wine in the palace and started.
    The other two sons met Godi with the Wand, and Godi asked them for a bit of what they were eating. They wouldn't give it to him. He then asked them for the crumbs from the napkin, and they shook it out into the sea, and would not give them to him. "Well, travel on", says he.
    The youngest sone met Godi, and Godi asked him for a small bit to eat. "Such as it is", says he, "sit down and eat your hide full". Godi was eating away and they fell to talk, and the king's son told him where he was going, and Godi asked him might he go with him. He said, "nothing would give me more pleasure than for you to come with me".
