- There is a holy well in the town land of Ballyrahan. It was blessed by a special priest of Kilquiggan about three years ago. There are two big trees over the well. One time a man took a piece of wood off the tree and put it in one fire it blazed up the chimney. He put a pot of potatoes on the fire for one hour and when he took them off the fire they were as cold as when he put them on. People have been cure and left rags and medals at the well. St. Brigid is connected with it. The name of it is Tobar na Gann.
