    Giants were very plentiful long ago and there were alot of stories connected with them...

    Giants were very plentiful long ago and there were alot of stories connected with them but some of the stories are forgotten now. Once upon a time there lived a giant in a cave under the ground in Corry which is about two miles north of Drumkeerin.
    One time there was a man looking for a wife and when he was about three yards from the giant's cave he met a little red man. The little red man asked him where he was going and the man told him. The little red man told him he would give him a gun and told him to go into the cave and tell the giant that there was a crowd of soldiers outside waiting to kill him and that if he would give him everything he had he would save him. The man did what the fairy told him. He went into the cave and when the giant saw him he said "I will have a fine supper on you to night" When the giant heard what was going to happen he offered all he had to the man if
