    About thirty year ago in the time of the Land-League, there lived an emergencyman in Ballinaglera named Tom Brady. There were a number of songs composed about him. I only know one and it was made by Myles McTague of Drumriston, this is the song
    Where rusheth forth those war like men?.
    With maidens fair through bog, and glen
    It reminds me of olden times again,
    "I'll answer you," says Thady
    "See the teaming youths o'er the winding wats,
    In hot pursuit across the braes,
    See, how the girls unhook their stays,
