The priest usually kept in hiding, during the day, and left by night, escorted by a guide, to the next Mass rock. - For instance they believed that toothache would be cured, if they got a tooth in a grave, which belonged to some person, who was long dead.
- There is a legend about the robin. One day when Our Saviour was being hunted by the soldiers, he passed through a field, and some drops of His blood fell on the ground. The robin near at hand, saw the blood and he dried it up with his breast. From that day forth the robin is known as "Robin Redbreast".(continues on next page)
