    By hoisting flags according to the colours, they could understand what each other meant.
    In some cases they signalled by light and sometimes by sound.
    About forty years ago there was music and dancing seen in Killynebber fort. As soon as anyone went near the fence around the fort, the music and dancing disappeared.
