  1. There is a hilly field in our farm which is called the "Crucan". About fifty years ago a two men were digging for sand on this hill (Pat Smyth the owner of the field and George Dobson) they came across a cave or an opening built of cut stone. They got afraid to go further with the digging. So they closed the opening and went home. The opening has not been interfered with since although it has been under crop.
