Water Parsley. Water-parsley is cure for kidneys. It is cut in small pieces and some salt is put on it and then eaten.
Slanless. Slanless is the cure for a bleeding cut. Chew the leaf and then put it on the cut. - There was an old hag living down at Kilnacrott, and her name was Mary Gaffney. She was a very wicked, but she had the cure of every disease that could be thought of. People used to come for miles to this woman for cures especially for the ring-worm. When the people would come to her for any cure she would be very angry with them and many people were afraid to meet her the second time for a cure. The people used(continues on next page)
