    some corner all the time. If any child leaves his corner the child in the centre watches to get into it and if he does get into it the other child has to stand in the centre.
    A ring a ring arosy.
    A number of children catch hands and say the words, A ring a ring arosy

    Everyone tries to be down the first.
    Slapping.
    A crowd of people gather in the centre of a floor. One person holds a lighted candle in front of another person's eye and puts his hand on the other eye. Then a few people slap him on the hand. After every slap the candle is taken from his eye and he has to guess who slapped him. If he cannot find out who slapped him he has to remain there until he finds out correctly.
    Jack Stones.
    When playing Jack stones, one gets five stones and throws them up one by one. When they are coming down he tries to catch them on the back of his hand, and if he catches them he wins the game.
    Cat and Dog.
