Sore Throat.
The cure for a throat is to put roasted salt into a stocking and tie it round the person's neck until it is better.
To stop a bleeding.
The cure to stop bleeding is to put a cobweb on the cut.
A bleeding nose.
The cure for a bleeding nose is to put a penny at the back of your tongue or to put a cold stone at the back of your head.
Burns
Another cure for a burn is to get the first snow of the year and let it melt and put it on the burn.
Boils.
The cure for a boil is to rub sugar and soap on it.
Thrush
A child who never saw its father has the cure for thrush
Jaundice.
The cure for jaundice is to boil nettles or dockings and drink the water.
Toothache
