- There is a fort in the townland of Drumury. It is in a line to Corlismore Fort.
In olden times there were lights often seen going from Drumury fort to Corlismore fort. The sound of churning was often heard in this fort; and once an old man went to the fort to see what was going on. He was met in the door by a little man dressed in a red jacket who asked him for a gallon of meal. The fairy got the meal.
Every night the people heard the fairies dancing in the grassy ring and an old women who wanted to know all about the fairies went into the fort. She hid behind the trunk of a tree; she kept very still, and she heard and saw the fairies laugh and sing(continues on next page)- Informant
