- There was an old Catholic church in Coronea which was built about two hundred years ago. There is another new church built in Coronea since that one.
At that time there lived beside Killeshandra an old protestant land-lord. This man hated the church.
One day when the masons had finished their work the land-lord and his men came and went up on the roof and started to pull it down with hammers. As luck would have it Father Ned Brady was coming down the road and when he saw the men he said some prayers and the men got stuck to the roof.
