- In the townland of Mullyambly there is a rock known as the St's Rock. An old women named Mrs. Lynch tells me this story.
Many years ago a man named Edie Lynch was sitting near the rock when a man appeared. He was dressed like a priest and he said, "My dear man the water in this well is blessed and the water that runs through the rocks are St. Finenn's Waters and I depend on you to make this well, well known through the country." Then the man disappeared.
Edie Lynch told the priests of the diocese and the said that it was St. Finenn himself
