    the dash upwards and downwards until the churning is done. When the churning is finished the dash will get clean, that is the butter will not stay on the dash. The churn is rocked to gather the butter into one lump. Then there is some cold water poured in and for about a quarter of an hour it is left to cool. Then it is taken off and made. The buttermilk is used by giving it to the calves and pigs.
