were awhile sitting at it, they got tired and went up to the top of the hill for a walk. When they were at the top of the hill John Smyth said to the other man who was peter Fox. They went back for the tongs and when they went down to the bridge, they saw a dog sitting at the fire and the tongs in his paws. When he saw them coming he disappeared but brought the tongs with him and it was never seen since.
