  1. On Easter Sunday the young people light a fire in the open air and boil their eggs. On Easter Saturday they gather straw, dry rushes and whitethorn and they store them up Sunday. On Easter Saturday the children go out with baskets and gather "Cludogs" for Sunday.
    On St. Stephen's day people never eat meat for dinner or breakfast and this is supposed to prevent famine or plagues. The boys dress up in funny ragged clothes and go from house to house collecting pennies. One brings a box and the other a musical
