  1. Every Easter Sunday the children in the County of Cavan go up on the mountains or to Fairy Forts to boil their cludog. We bring a basket full of eatables and a kettle and a pot to boil the eggs and the water. When we reach the mountain we light a fire of whins and set the water to boil. When it is boiling we put on the eggs. When they are boiled we sit down and enjoy them. When the meal is over we go around the mountain lighting all the whins and when it is getting dark we start
