  2. A Visit from Cromwell

    In the early pages of this folklore book, we mentioned that the O'Reillys - princes of Breffney - had a castle on the lake shore.
    That castle was knocked by Cromwell's guns. Cromwell is said to have ravaged all the district around Mullagh.
