  1. (continued from previous page)
The Lord sits on the Lady's knee,
To let no spirits waken me,
When I am asleep I cannot see,
Sweet Jesus and the Blessed Trinity waken me,
    Sleep never, sleep never,
To God I give my heart forever.
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
  2. A night Prayer
May the will of God be done by us
May the death of the Saints be won by us
And the light of the Kingdom begun in us
May Jesus the Child, be beside my bed
May the Lamb of Mercy uplift my head
May the Virgin Mary be brightness shed
And Michael be steward of my soul. Amen.
