  1. Once upon a time a man lived by himself in a big house. The man was a Protestant an the devil was in him. When he died the was put into a coffin and the coffin was put into a hearse. The horses that drew the hearse would not go nor would the hearse go. The people went for the minister and he was no good. It still stayed there. Then they sent for the priest and when the priest came he said "that there was a devil's imp on each of those horses heads and an imp on each spoke of those wheels and they wont let it go."
