  1. There are many roads leading from Bailieboro to various towns, the most important one being the road leading to Dublin. Another important one is the Shercoch Dundalk road, which further one leads to Belfast.
    Next in importance is the road that leads to Cavan, whilst there are roads to Cootehill, Kingscourt, and Virginia also. The "Institute road" as the people around Bailieboro call it, is one of the two roads leading to Loughin-Lea mountain.
