    there" said I " as I pointed in the direction of which they were. My mother (loocl) looked but could see no soldiers and she said she would beat me for telling a lie. "Oh mammie" I said "dont you see them and then I began to (chreer) cheer, the soldiers broke up into two parts
    One party went in the direction of (Kila) Kilmainhamwood and the others galloped by where we were standing on the road but the two women never saw a sight of them nor did they hear the sound of the horse's hooves as the went past.
