I'd like ti know before I'd go the man that made the song.
This hacklin' clown, he could let down, a tear with every smile.
And all his days, with perfect "ars", could act the crocadile.
Wuth nimble shanks, he played his pranks, on police all along.
And now doth aim. to blast my fame, in his old rebel song.
To Tully's wife, in all my life, I never spoke a word.
This crazy lune, cried out too soon, his jealous mind was stirred.
I do mention, he is insane, though Lovelock says I'm wrong
This mental quack, I'm told for fact, is author of the song.
But all their boast, this hacklin' ghost, annoys me most of all.
I'm still in dread, that when he;'s dead, he'll haunt me at Grousehall.
The "Lague" its true, I said pursue, the priest why should I spare.
