- On the eastern rim of my fathers farm there is a field which we call the "Garla" when we want to distinguish it from any other field.
Why this field got its name I do not know.
There is a field on the north-eastern side of the house which we call "The Black Garden".
This field got its name on account of its having a boggy sub-soil.
On the south-western rim of our farm there is a bog and part of this bog is known as "The Isle Of Man".
There is a field which we call "leisgeamhail" [?] on the north-eastern side of(continues on next page)
