    Though Fashion draws no servile crowd, a prouder boast is thine;
    Thy sons are fearless, staunch and brave, thy daughters pure as snow,
    For Honour, Truth and Beauty hold, I love you, Sweet Bunnoe.

    Oh! yes I love you Motherland, and every son of thine;
    One thought of thee, 'tis something grand though in a foreign clime;
    For I was born beneath yon hill, where the Annalee does flow,
    And thus my heart with rapture thrills to hail you Sweet Bunnoe.
