  2. The late Bishop Leslie was my Grandfather's Landlord, and he was the hardest Landlord in Ireland. He would put a man out if he owed one year's rent. For cutting one tree on the land he was going to put my Grandfather out. That was why the people hated Landlords. Fane Venable was his agent.
